Mental Health Day Advice from the Children of Speen School

  • It is ok not to feel ok.
  • Make people feel good by smiling and giving hugs.
  • Help people when they are hurt.
  • Make sure you are not hungry or thirsty, that can make you feel sad or grumpy.
  • Count on people, just like our song.
  • Keep your body healthy by exercising.
  • Talk to friends and trusted adults about your problems.
  • You need to be resilient, be brave and keep on trying.
  • Have hobbies and things that make you feel calm. Try colouring, singing, cooking, listening to music or reading.
